Specifications include, but are not limited to: OVERVIEW The City of Port St. Lucie desires to obtain quotations from qualified individuals, firms, and legal entities relative to the construction of sidewalk improvements within and along the east side of Del Rio Boulevard from Port St. Lucie Boulevard to the western most California Boulevard. All work is under the Local Agency Program (LAP) and based on plans and specifications of the bid documents. NOTE: The City may not accept proposals from firms that have had adversarial relationships with the City or firms that have represented entities that have had adversarial relationships with the City. This includes the firm, its employees and their financial or legal interests. NOTE: The City will not enter into a contract or conduct business with any firm or any personnel that is listed on the Federal, State, or other local government agencies, Excluded Parties List, Suspended List or Debarment List. INTENT & SCOPE OF WORK This project is to construct approximately two and three-quarters (2.75) miles of six (6) foot wide concrete sidewalk on the east side of Del Rio Boulevard from Port St. Lucie Boulevard to the western most California Boulevard. This project includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, clearing and grubbing, drainage modifications, swale relocation, driveway culvert replacements, replacement of driveways, utility relocations, record drawings, and all work and materials to provide a complete project as shown and described in the contract documents, bid specifications and project plan set, Sheets 1 through 91. Contractor to provide all materials, supplies, labor, and equipment necessary for a complete project based on all specifications and any contract amendments that may be deemed necessary. This sidewalk project is a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP) funded project. The Contractor is not required to be FDOT prequalified for sidewalk construction. It is the Citys intent to have this project completed within an estimated time frame of one hundred fifty (150) calendar days from contract start date. The Contractor must have all the required licenses and certifications necessary to perform this work. The approved Licenses for this work include a State of Florida General Contractor License, a Local Paving Contractor License or possess both Local Concrete and Underground Utility License. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify with the City's Building Department that they possess the proper licenses and certifications to perform the work prior to submitting a bid
