Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)installation, disassembling, and maintenance for Caltrans- owned Quikdeck (QD) deckingsystem as described herein as described herein:A. Contractor shall provide all labor (upon pre-approval overtime may be charged as requiredby Caltrans), tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary forinstalling, disassembling, reassembling, and maintaining Caltrans-owned Quikdeck (QD)containment decking system to be used by Caltrans Paint Crews performing cleaning andpainting of various bridges in Northern California.B. Decking system Agreement is necessary to contain lead and hazardous materials found inthe paint and surface preparation debris generated during paint removal operations andachieve 100% containment (C-100%) of said materials; and for providing miscellaneoussupplemental material and equipment such as staging, stairway, special needs scaffolding,and special order decking related items.
