Specifications include, but are not limited to: Improvements at Sterling C. Robertson Dam: Rehabilitate or replace the low flow facility ball valves, conduits, flow meters, inlet gates, gate operators, trash racks, bulkheads, bulkhead storage systems and other steel appurtenances in order to extend the operating life 50 years Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) access improvements to the dry wells and wet wells of the low flow facilities.The BRA is soliciting proposals from well qualified engineering firms with a proven record and a strong background providing Dam & Intake Structure Engineering services to carry out the investigations outlined above and to provide the engineering services necessary for design and construction of any improvements chosen by the BRA for the dam. The initial scope of services will include the evaluation of the steel elements, hydraulic evaluation of the low flow facilities and the investigation of options for new trashracks, bulkheads and bulkhead storage systems in addition to the feasibility of access improvements to the dry and wet wells in the piers Upon completion of the evaluations and investigations, the BRA may authorize the selected Firm to provide preliminary design phase services, detailed final design phase services, preparation of bidding and construction documents, bidding phase services, and construction phase engineering services. The BRA may also authorize the selected firm to provide construction contract administration services and resident project representative services, but reserves the right to contract with an independent firm for these services
