Specifications include, but are not limited to:The pavilion shall be approximately 180.5 x 99 A-frame or Clearspan structure with custom fit leg extensions to account for the undulated surfaces and installed over the adjacent walls of the Custom House Plaza. See attached layout plan and photograph in Appendix B Exhibit A. The walls shall be custom fit where needed consisting white black out coated fabric. Provide minimum doors to meet exiting requirements with panic hardware. The structure should be free of knee braces. The subfloor system shall be at a minimum height of 2.75 with standard 1st quality black carpet and include trapdoors to access the five (5) manholes with-in the footprint of the tent. Drainage considerations must be taken to prevent water from entering the Pavilion. Appropriate ballast system required. No drilling into the Plaza. Rigging points should be 5 meters on center, down the length of the pavilion; max weight per beam shall evenly distributed to 2600 lbs. and shall not exceed 500 lbs. max on a single hang point. Access must be ADA-compliant. Installation of the Pavilion to comply with the State of California per Right of Entry Permit, attached in Appendix B Exhibit C and the Special Event Permit Terms and Conditions for Tent Companies Custom House Plaza Monterey State Historic Park, Fire Code Check List/Terms & Conditions Monterey State Historic Park, and Special Event Permit Terms and Conditions Custom House Plaza Monterey State Parks see attached Appendix B Exhibit D. Systems: Power to be pulled from Portola Hotels 480 Volt AC, 3 Phase, 500 amp panel behind the Spa. The Citys events contractor Tricord will run the power cords from the Portola Hotel to the Custom House Plaza. The contractor must setup a junction box with six points of connection including one 3-phase plug for City vendors to plug into. The pavilion shall have house lights installed that meet a minimum requirement of 300 lux at 1 meter, lighting along the perimeter walls outside of the pavilion and emergency exit lighting per fire code. Provide ducting and mechanical systems to heat and ventilate the pavilion.
