Specifications include, but are not limited to:The County of Fresno is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors to provide credit reporting services to the County of Fresnos Department of Public Works and Planning Community Development Division. The purpose of the Request for Quotation is to meet the Divisions need for expanded credit reporting services. It will be the responsibility of the selected vendor to provide the necessary credit reports required to accurately and efficiently assess an applicants credit risk. The selected vendors service shall have the capacity to provide County staff with accurate and timely credit reports to assist with loan underwriting for clients submitting applications to the Community Developments Affordable Housing Programs (AHP). Bidders shall provide consumer credit reports for low to moderate income households located throughout Fresno County. Credit reports will be used to assist in the review, process and approval of applications to the Countys Affordable Housing Program. Vendor shall provide Credit reports that will enable the County of Fresno to accurately and efficiently assess the applicants credit history. Successful bidders shall provide reliable tri-merge consumer credit reports for selected clients from the three major reporting services. FICO scoring is not a necessary requirement for this quotation. All reports shall identify which service is reporting any and all reportable items. Successful bidders must have the capability to rerun credit report within 90 days of the original service date. If required Fresno County will provide signed and dated releases from individuals whose credit report is requested. Community Development Division office shall be provided with an immediate, and secure on-line access to the consumer credit report. Successful Bidders must provide an electronic method that allows the County of Fresno immediate access to the requested report when complete. The selected vendor shall provide appropriate passwords to Community Development staff to access the requested credit reports through the internet Credit reports will be requested for both individual people and jointly for married persons All credit reports must include comprehensive credit analysis of the data collected for underwriting purposes. All successful bidders must meet the following conditions: Vendors must have a minimum of five years experience in providing credit reporting services Experience working with governmental agencies is preferred but not required Community Development specifically requests vendor(s) with expertise in tri-merge consumer credit reports
