Specifications include, but are not limited to:0It is the intent of the City of Middletown to obtain bids for the rental of trucks complete with operator, plow,tire chains and optional sanding equipment to augment City personnel for snow plowing and sandingoperations required during the winter season. The contractor furnishing the service shall have completeresponsibility for the equipment and labor utilized pursuant to this contract and shall furnish all fuel,maintenance, repair and insurance for all equipment furnished to the City. Under the contract the contractorwill receive an assignment by the Citys Operations Supervisor and will be called out by him or his designee.Trucks must be fully equipped and available on or before December 1 through May 31, of each contract year.Compensation will be made to the contractor on an hourly rate basis which will not exceed the maximum rateallowed by the City and shall include equipment, operator, fuels, maintenance and insurance.
