Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Scope of Work is outlined in the tasks listed below. However, MCTS encourages consultantteams/firms to propose alternative approaches that introduce innovative, higher quality or impactfulresults. The overall scope will identify a preferred concept design with enough engineering detail toconduct environmental review and preliminary engineering and pursue funding opportunities.Task 1: Project Management and Internal ReviewThe selected consultant will identify a project manager to work jointly with the MCTS project team,other consultant team members, staff from Milwaukee County, and staff from SEWRPC. This team isanticipated to meet on an as needed basis, either in-person or via conference call. The purpose of thesemeetings will be to review project progress, discuss key issues, and allow for input from all projectparticipants. Additionally, there may be subject-specific meetings to review and discuss key issuesrequiring a closer review by subject-matter experts. 11The consultant will assist in the development of an overall project schedule to include all major phasesof project development and implementation, and a detailed schedule for the feasibility study andproject development process. The consultant project manager will manage all technical aspects of thefeasibility study and project development process, including quality assurance and quality control,regular reports of the status of project budget, work effort progress, emerging and unresolved issues,and schedule.The consultant should expect that all major work products/deliverables will go through at least tworeview stages by the project team.Expected Deliverables: Project Management Plan that includes at a minimum scope, schedule, budget and internalcommunication processes Monthly progress reports that include tasks undertaken, budget tracking schedule, and emergingand unresolved issues Summary notes for all project meetings Presentation materials as needed for internal and external briefings
