Specifications include, but are not limited to:Purpose of ProcurementThe purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a qualified consultant and/or consultant team that is experienced in the planning, design and financial analysis of parking structures to assist the City of Albany in accomplishing the development of one or more parking facilities in Downtown Albany, to be located adjacent to or near the site of the Albany Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) at 101 Front Street in Albany, Georgia. The primary objective of the Joint Downtown Parking Feasibility Study is to devise a short-term and long-term solution(s) to service increased parking demand from the development of a second hotel on the site of the HGI, plus additional capacity to service potential future demand from the occupancy and redevelopment of nearby Downtown buildings. The recommended solution may include a joint-use parking structure(s) and/or one or more surface lots. Offerors shall submit a Proposal to the City which will be based on instructions and specifications provided herein.
