Specifications include, but are not limited to:Construction services for building wide infrastructure improvements to include but notlimited to the following: HVAC new air handling units, new duct mains tied into existingbranch ductwork, new HVAC controls with VAV boxes, new heat exchangers, revisedexhaust fan system in penthouse, revised duct system for meat smoker, new fireprotection system with new water service, new ceilings, new lighting fixtures, newceiling diffusers, replacement of existing fire detection system, renovate two staff lockerroom areas in basement, upgrade all restrooms, replacement of electrical panels,replacement of transformers, and replacement of emergency power generator, new EMtransfer switches, revised walls and doors in electrical vault.Hazardous abatement of ceiling tile, etc. is by others.This project includes staging construction so that some parts of the building will remainoccupied during construction at all times. As construction on individual spaces or floorsis completed, additional departmental moves will be required so that finished spaces canbe occupied as soon as finished. The general contractor shall coordinate the relocation ofdepartments as needed during the entire project. The general contractor will be requiredto carry an allowance for payment of moves. The moving allowance is $ 60,000.
