Specifications include, but are not limited to:The new Tex-Mex station will redesign an existing food service station within the MAX. Thedesign will update an existing dessert station at one end and create the Tex-Mex serving line withthe remainder of the space. The project will work around an existing exhaust hood and maintainroughly the existing footprint of the food service station, so as not to impede on the surroundingdining space and traffic patterns. Work with plumbing, gas, electrical, and finishes is anticipatedfor the project.The new food service venue will provide meals customized by the customers but prepared byfood service employees. In this Tex-Mex restaurantstyle experience, the food preparation areawill be visible but inaccessible to customers. To achieve this, new equipment includingsneezeguards, hot/cold wells, serving countertop, and a griddle will be installed. The project willalso upgrade the adjoining dessert station with a new dipping cabinet and sneezeguard.To further emphasize the new cuisine, the project will employ branding through design.
