Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Norfolk Department of Public Works, Division of Transportation is soliciting proposals fromqualified professional firms to provide Construction Administration and Inspection Services on an as-requiredbasis. The City intends to enter into an annual, renewable Agreement with the firm selected to provide theseservices. Other related government organizations or agencies may be allowed to issue Work Orders under thisAgreement, as permitted by the City. The City will provide a scope of services for each specific request forservices under the Agreement. A request for services may include, but not necessarily be limited to, thefollowing: construction administration; project management; construction management; constructioninspection; quality control and quality assurance; material sampling, testing and certifications; surveying; utilitydesignation and location; constructability reviews; value engineering; construction schedule and critical pathmethod (CPM) reviews; delay claims analysis; cost estimating; construction document review; payment reviewand processing (to include all applicable documentation).
