Texas A&M ranks as thenation's sixth largest university in enrollment, with more than 58,000 students on the main campus.The University had research expenditures of $866 million in FY15, placing it among the top 10public universities nationally. The most recent rankings also place Texas A&M at number 11nationally in research funded by private businesses at $70 million. As a state/public institution ofhigher education, Texas A&M is governed by the Texas State Constitution, state legislation andstatutes, Texas A&M University System Policies and Regulations and University Rules.1.3 ScopeThe intent of this RFP is to seek firms capable of reviewing the existing commercialization andtechnology innovation ecosystem at Texas A&M University College Station and providing anassessment. The awarded firm may provide recommendations, or confirm existing structure asappropriate, in order to maximize the impact of technology translation and commercializationactivities
