Specifications include, but are not limited to:PROJECT SCOPE AND TASKS The scope of the project is to clear the trash racks at East Barre Dam of all debris while protecting the structure. The debris is to be removed from the site and disposed of in accordance with State law. The performance period typically is between May 1 and October 30 to allow for the spring runoff period to pass and before the access is closed due to snow and ice. The contract runs from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2018. It may be possible to renew the contract for up to 2 additional one year periods upon written agreement by the State and Contractor. Task #1. Clearing and removal of debris 1.Twice annually, when directed by the State, clear all accumulated debris from the trash rack and entrance to the flood control conduit. The debris may consist of logs, limbs, woody and non-woody vegetation, muck, and litter including tires. The use of chainsaws, cables, or chains may be necessary to aid in removal.
