Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor(s) will be established on a preferred provider basis. The County does not guarantee any minimum or maximum number of hours to be procured as a result of this RFP. All requests for such service will be subject to the appropriate County approvals at the time service is requested. 1. Contractor(s) shall provide a 365/24/7 support helpdesk, for the County to access, with the potential for timely off-hours support for unexpected emergency support issues. 2. For ad hoc services and emergency issues, the County requires the ability to purchase support blocks in 40 hour increments to be used on an as-needed basis as well as planned projects such as upgrading or expanding the current Citrix server environment, that meet the qualifications outlined above. Contractor shall provide at least two (2) resumes of a Certified Citrix Engineer that is readily available for both ad hoc and emergency support. 3. The County will review the resumes of candidates submitted that would be assigned to this contract. Due tothetimeittakesforaConsu l t a n t t o b e c o m e f a m i l i a r w i t h t h e C o u n t y s I T e n v i r o n m e n t , t h e C o u n t y will choose one Consultant from the highest rated vendor to provide ad hoc services based on their experience and availability. If the highest rated vendor cannot provide a Consultant for the ad hoc services, the County will choose a Consultant from the next highest rated vendor. 4. The County shall issue a Purchase Order in blocks of hours (generally 20 or 40 at a time). The County will place requests for ad-hoc or emergency support from the Contractor for Citrix Support Services as needed. There may be periods of time, where the County will need responsive emergency services. During those periods of time, contractor shall provide a consultant that can respond to emergency calls within 30 minutes. Pricing should be provided for the following categories (in the pricing document only) : a. Cost per hour for work performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. b. Cost per hour for work performed between the hours of 4:31 p.m. and 6:59 a.m. Monday through Friday and all day Saturday until 11:59 p.m. (overtime). c. Cost per hour for work performed between the hours of 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. on Sundays and County observed holidays. 5. The County anticipates that Citrix services may be performed remotely when possible and with the C o u n t y s concurrence. The County may require consultants to be on site for a portion of work to be performed for ad hoc services and planned projects when needed. 6. If a selected consultant leaves the company during the engagement, the Contractor is responsible for ensuring that any substitute personnel have comparable skills and experience. The County reserves the right to interview substitute personnel prior to commencement of any activity. If the County does not agree that the substitute personnel is acceptable for the balance of the engagement, the County reserves the right to re-solicit the remaining preferred providers.
