Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor shall comply with the following:a. Complete a detailed survey (including performing any tests needed) of the Center for HealthStudies Suite 2103 and the surrounding site areas. Perform assessment and engineering analysis ofexisting systems (ex., electrical, mechanical, structural, security, communications, utilities, etc) asthey relate to completing the project scope of work. Any modifications required to existingsystems and/or work areas shall be included in the scope of work. The contractor is responsiblefor accurately defining existing conditions.b. The Adjacent spaces and classrooms to the Dental Lab must remain open during College operatinghours.c. The work shall not disrupt College operations. Work tasks that involve excess noise, dust ordisruption shall be performed outside of normal operating hours.d. The work is to be continuous. The Contractor shall order all materials first. Once materials arereceived, the Contractor can then start demolition and installation work so actual physicalconstruction time and disruption to the College are minimized.e. The Contractor shall work with the College to complete work based upon an agreed schedule.Physical construction activities from start to finish shall not exceed thirty-eight (38) calendar days.The scope of work shall include weekend and after hour work during the week should that benecessary to meet the agreed upon schedule.f. Construction shall be performed as neatly as possible and shall be performed in a manner toprovide the least interruption to building activities and occupants.g. Adjacent spaces must be protected. Protection of adjacent spaces includes preventing dust anddebris from the Center for Health Studies Suite 2103 construction site to enter into adjacent spaces(including the buildings HVAC system).h. Areas of the project site that are disturbed or damaged during the performance of the work shallbe the responsibility of the Contractor.i. Damage to existing equipment or conditions resulting from the Contractors operations shall berepaired or replaced by the Contractor at no expense to the College.j. Upon contract award, the Contractor shall submit a draft Schedule of Values and proposed invoiceformat to the College for review and approval.k. Prior to purchasing material, the Contractor shall submit final cut sheets to the Colleges ProjectManager for final approval.
