Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the Pierce County Workforce Development Council (WDC), through its administrative entity Workforce Central (WFC), to identify and select a highly qualified subrecipient for Department of Labor (DOL) federal dollars to provide direct business services in Pierce County under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (Public Law No: 113-128 (WIOA)).The Business Services RFP is seeking a subrecipient to deliver superior quality business services that assist specific businesses and industry sectors in overcoming the challenges of recruiting, retaining, and developing talent for the regional economy. These services should be focused through the customer lens and responsive to their work needs and be flexible as customer needs change. The successful subrecipient will connect employment opportunities to job seeker customers, host business introductions and conduct job fairs, hiring events and assist employers with hiring job seekers. The subrecipient will coordinate with WFC and its partners that conduct business services to minimize duplication and promote seamless business service delivery that is in alignment with the Washington State Workforce Plan Talent and Prosperity for All.
