Specifications include, but are not limited to:WORKThe project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete construction of the Black Canyon Golf Course Back 9 Irrigation Pump Replacement Project in accordance with the project plans. The project includes the following key tasks: A.Dewater and excavate an existing pond to a depth of 10 feet. Dewater (as necessary to haul without spillage) and dispose of excavated material off site. B.Construct a new wet well and intake pipe (with screen) extending to the excavated pond. C.Trench and backfill approximately 200 LF of service line from an existing transformer to the new pump pad/wet well. D.Construct a reinforced concrete pump pad around the new wet well. E.Supply, install, tie-in, and start up a Rain Bird VT2 pump and platform assembly (or approved equal). See quote document in Appendix A for additional detail on pump specifications and required options. Pump instrumentation must be compatible and communicate with existing control infrastructure present at the golf course. F.Construct a cleanout line between the pump platform and pond to convey backwash water from the pumps wye strainer. G. Perform all electrical connections to bring the new pump into service. H. Design and construct a shed to enclose the new pump assembly. See project plans for shed requirements and concept drawing included in Appendix B. I. Demolish the existing pump intake, sump, and enclosure. J. Implement stormwater management, site security, site restoration, and quality control testing as required to complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications.
