The purpose of this scoping study is to determine the feasibility of constructing a multi-use path along Route 15 connecting to the existing sidewalk systems in Jericho Corners and Riverside (from Griswold St. to River Rd.) Given the distance between the two village centers (approximately 2.2 miles), the study will need to identify and prioritize path segments so that the entire project can be constructed in phases over time. II. SCOPE OF WORK In general, the scope of this project will consist of a planning process that identifies the needs of pedestrians and/or bicyclists within a defined area taking into consideration the existing conditions. The outcome of the process will be: ? An identification and prioritization of improvements ? A public involvement process to ensure local input and support of projects ? An assessment of historic, archaeological and environmental constraints ? Clear, written documentation of project issues and overall feasibility ?
