Specifications include, but are not limited to:The isolator will be used to house the filling line. It will provide a specialized enclosure, which allows for decontamination procedures using chlorine dioxide (CD) and or hydrogen peroxide vapor (HPV). This process enables more thorough decontamination for a broader range of therapeutics produced by Waisman Biomanufacturing, which will eliminate or lower the risk of cross-contamination completely. WB is seeking to improve aseptic fill capabilities across all product types manufactured (see above examples). An automated fill line will allow for larger capacity fills (greater than, 2,000 vials per fill) in a short period of time while also being less labor-intensive. The fill line will be integrated into the Isolator to allow for sanitation between campaigns. Lastly, in order to support our above mission, flexibility in container size, fill volume, and container format is important.
