Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractor shall provide installation of backup camera systems (See Attachment 1) ontovehicles belonging to the County of Los Angeles Agricultural Commissioner/Weights &Measures Department. A vehicle list is attached (Attachment 2). Additional vehiclesmay be added at a later date.2. DEFINITIONSi. County or Department: The County of Los Angeles and/or the AgriculturalCommissioner/Weights & Measures Department.ii. Warranty: The time frame which failure of equipment will be repaired on-site atno cost to the Department or County.iii. Technical Specifications: The design, plans, specifications and placement ofequipment as necessary for the needs of the Department.3. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIESi. Equipment AcquisitionContractor shall provide the equipment as necessary to install on the vehicle aslisted in the attached equipment placement (Attachment 1). As consistency ofequipment operation throughout the Agricultural Commissioner/Weights &Measures Department fleet is critical to the safe operation of the vehicles, theCounty of Los Angeles Agricultural Commissioner/Weights & MeasuresDepartment shall have final approval of brand(s) and model(s) of equipment to beinstalled.ii. Equipment InstallationContractor shall install such equipment in the location on the vehicle as specifiedin the equipment location attachment or in an alternate position agreed to by theDepartment. Equipment Installation LocationContractor shall perform installation of the equipment as outlined in this SOW atThe South Gate office of the Agricultural Commissioner/Weights & MeasuresDepartment which is located at 11012 Garfield Ave., South Gate, CA 90280.Sublet services, regardless of location, shall not be permitted.Verification of Equipment OperationContractor shall verify operation of all equipment prior to release to Departmentand shall certify in writing of such equipment operating to the terms of this SOW.4. QUALITY CONTROLThe Contractor shall allow inspections by the County or Department staff at anytimeduring normal business hours to enable staff to determine if installation quality,equipment installation location, equipment brand(s)/model(s), and other requirementsof this SOW are in compliance.
