Specifications include, but are not limited to:General Information The County obtains background investigations for multiple County departments for pre-employment candidates, volunteers, and employees for a variety of reasons. Each department has its own requirements, as stated below, and processes. The County has around 4,300 merit position employees plus 1000+ temporary workers which varies seasonally. The Successful Bidder shall provide a report of the employee, volunteer, or candidates results within two (2) business days that shall be accessed electronically by a County representative, and provide statistical and historical reporting capability. The expected turnaround time is two (2) business days which starts when the data has been entered and submitted by the County or the employee/candidate/volunteer. If more detailed information requires additional time, the Successful Bidder shall immediately notify the applicable County Department to explain the situation, and the County will determine if this information is needed. Access for candidates, volunteers, employees, and the County to an on-line system shall be logical, uncomplicated (user friendly), and shall be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and include technical support for candidates and volunteers during that time period. Department of Recreation and Parks: Access for the Department of Recreation and Parks volunteers shall be a dedicated webpage that gives the link for the background form and payment to be completed. The fee charged to the Department of Recreation and Parks volunteers through the Successful Bidders webpage shall have the ability to be changed by the Department. Otherwise changes made by the Successful Bidder shall be with the approval from the Department. Successful Bidder shall invoice the Department of Recreation and Parks the fees not covered by the payment of the volunteers. The Successful Bidder shall have an account representative for the County representatives to contact regarding billing and other administrative concerns The account representatives availability shall be at a minimum within the business hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday. Access to the account representative is desired to include weekends and evenings, but is not required
