TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSHURON VALLEY SCHOOLS Purchasing DepartmentPage 11 Automated Timecard Collection Software/Hardware Bid Accommodates semi-monthly payroll, defines work week independent of pay period and supports entry and maintenance of weekly timecard information on one screen with ability to toggle to previous and future weeks. Ability to upload a payroll file to SunGard/Bi-Techs Business Plus 360 application in a fixed length, flat file in a specific format. Ability to populate employee information from SunGard/Bi-Techs Business Plus 360 application into an Automated Time Clock System. Display employee timecards in real time, view week to date information online, real time to monitor hours worked, Ability to review data (i.e. who punched in) real time, poll all data collection devices automatically and real time via the software without operator intervention. Software must have the ability to create schedules for individual employees or a group of employees, distribute an employees hours to multiply departments and/or buildings and provide a schedule editor so that employees schedules can be entered into the system, viewed and edited as necessary by pay period. Software must have the ability to create, customize and define work/pay rules including overtime pay for multiple employee groups and departments. Must support multiple approval methods, including: by transaction, by shift, by day, override of rules, employees approvals, managers approval, multi-level approvals Reporting must include exception pay reports. Software solution must support existing time clocks: NT300 & NT5000. C.2: Information and Cost on Optional Requirements Give description of functions of ad-hoc reporting feature if included in software. Give description of training and implementation options and prices associated with options: onsite vs. remote. Give description of support options: hours, days of week, response time. Give hardware specifications and pricing replacement time clocks. Provide individual pricing for various models and quantity discounts. Include server and network configuration and estimated costs for appropriate server and operating system
