Specifications include, but are not limited to:To provide a dependable, affordable, easy to use life saving device which is equipped for emergencies but simple enough to use by non-medical personnel. Also provide training, accessories and be responsible for overall functionality of Automated External Defibrillators as outlined in the specifications for Jefferson County and its Purchasing Cooperative.SPECIFICATIONS: Automated External Defibrillators (AED) with Biphasic Wave Form as specified or approved equal.Semi-automatic defibrillator similar in performance to the Defibtech Lifeline DCF-100 model with regard to environmental, operational, and physical specification. The AED must have separate pads and batteries, owners manual, quick use card and 5 year warranty. Pads must have a minimum of 2 year shelf life and the main battery shall have an expected operational life of 5 years. Unit must have FDA authorization and include prescription if required.
