Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Danbury is inviting the submission of proposals from qualified firms interested in providing auctioneering / liquidation services, on an as needed basis, for the Dept. of Health & Human Services. The Purchasing Dept. may also elect to use the selected firm to dispose of surplus City property. For the Dept. of Health & Human Services, the services are required to properly dispose of items in the possession of the City of Danbury as a result of eviction proceedings. These items will be available for disposition immediately after the C i t y s s t a t u t o r y public Auction mandate has been fulfilled . After the Public Auction mandate has been fulfilled, the selected firm will be required to do the following: Review items available for disposal in the Citys storage trailers (located at the Public Works Complex , 5 3 Newtown Road and/or at a contracted rental site in the immediate area). Prepare a marketing plan for the auction. Conduct on-site and/or on-line auction(s). Provide complete accounting documentation to the City, along with any revenues as per the proposed fee schedule.
