Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:MEASUREMENT & PAYMENTSIDEWALK RAMPS The Department will measure Sidewalk Ramps in accordance with Section505.04.01 and Standard Drawing RPM-170-09, current editions; however, contrary to Sections 505.04.05and 505.04.06, the Department will not measure Roadway Excavation or Embankment in Place, but shallbe incidental to the Sidewalk. Accept payment at the Contract unit price per square yard as fullcompensation for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for removal and disposal ofexisting sidewalk and curb and gutter, excavation and embankment, construction of the sidewalk ramps,reconstruction of the adjacent curb and/or sidewalk as necessary to install the sidewalk ramps, andrestoration of disturbed features in accordance with these notes or as directed by the Engineer.DETECTABLE WARNINGS The Department will measure Detectable Warnings in accordance withSection 505.04.04 and Standard Drawings RGX-040-03 and RPM-170-09, current editions. TheDepartment will make payment according to Section 505.05.HANDRAIL The Department will measure and make payment for Handrail in accordance with Section720.05 and Standard Drawing RPM-172-07, current editions.
