Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:The selected Architect will be required to provide a full range of architectural, engineering and construction administration services necessary to: 1)Design, construct and implement new 50,000sq ft. CCHHS Health and Diagnostic Center offering a broad range of proposed services including diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, vision, dental services, and physician clinic space to address the health needs of the community (see Exhibit A for full list of potential services). 2)Design, construct and implement new 30,000sq ft. CCHHS Health and Diagnostic Center offering a broad range of proposed services including behavioral health, dental services, vision and physician clinic space to address the health needs of the community (see Exhibit B for full list of potential services). 3)Perform assessment analysis of current services at existing locations for integration into new CCHHS Health and Diagnostic Centers. 4)Modernize, redesign, and construct for other clinic space including, but not limited to Behavioral Health. These services will include the complete oversight, design, definition and drawings of all specifications necessary to support an entire project from beginning to end. A. Concept Design Phase 1. Services. The first phase of each project will include the preparation of required specifications, program development and an overall project plan. During this phase, the Architect shall complete the following tasks: a. Conduct meetings with Administrative Personnel to document programming criteria and verify each facility requirements on a space-by-space basis as identified. b. Conduct life safety/building code analysis to verify compliance of design with all appropriate City, County, and State codes as well as The Joint Commission requirements. c. Confer with appropriate personnel to establish design requirements for each project as assigned. d. Confer with the CIO's representatives to verify technological requirements for each project as assigned.
