Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Duncanville is seeking a contract for Vehicle Maintenance. The successful vendor will provide routine and unscheduled maintenance for City vehicles to include, but will not be limited to the following: - Brake systems (shoes, calipers, rotors, pads, hydraulics, etc) - Exhaust systems (mufflers, exhaust and tail pipes, catalytic converters, etc) - Fuel systems (filters, fuel lines, pumps, injectors, etc) - Ignition systems (spark plugs, wiring, electrical components and wiring in the ignition systems) - Suspension system (shocks, sway bars, ball joints, etc) - Engine/motor/drive train (engine components, minor transmission repairs, drive shaft, seals, etc) Included will be all other routine and unscheduled maintenance that is required to keep the City fleet in good running order, with the exception of "Catastrophic" failure. Catastrophic failure is defined as a repair required where there is complete engine or transmission failure or other failures not normally defined as routine. Repairs/maintenance of this nature will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Service Facility Location In order to keep non maintenance related costs to a minimum, the contract will be awarded to a facility within a 30 mile radius of the 303 Shady Trail, Duncanville , TX 75137-4037
