Specifications include, but are not limited to:Supplier shall furnish all labor, personnel, service, supervision, administration, management reports, documentation, insurance, materials, supplies, equipment for unloading, pay all taxes, benefits, fuel surcharges, shipping, transportation, parking and other ancillary fees, tolls, travel time, freight, and all other overhead costs including incidentals, necessary to provide the products as described herein. 1.2 Supplier must be regularly engaged in the business of providing Telecommunication Parts and Equipment. 1.3 Dallas County does not guarantee any quantities to be purchased under this contract. The quantities indicated in the bid are estimates based upon the best available information and may not reflect the actual quantity required during the duration of the contract. The County reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities by any amount deemed necessary to meet its needs without any adjustments in the bid price. 1.4 Brand names are for reference only. Such identification is intended to be descriptive and is not intended to be restrictive or limit competition. Other products will be considered for award if such products are identified in the bid and are determined by the County to meet its needs. Products equivalent to those designated shall qualify for consideration. Bids on brands other than those listed are subject to approval based on evaluation. 1.5 Vendor shall be an authorized dealer, jobber, warehouse retailer or warehouse distributor for the requested products. In addition, vendor must carry sufficient stock or have immediate access to proposed products as to satisfactorily furnish the County with all its requirements. 1.6 Product Discontinuance/Substitution: Written notification is required to the Dallas County Purchasing Department at 509 Main Street, 6th Floor, Room 623, Dallas, Texas 75202 on any and all notice of discontinue or substitution of product. In the event that a manufacturer discontinues a product and/or model, the Countymay allow the successful Vendor/Supplier to provide a substitute for the discontinued item or may cancel thecontract item. If the Supplier requests permission to substitute a new product, it shall provide the following to the County: 1.6.1 No product or brand substitutions shall be made unless the supplier has obtained written approval and authorization from the Dallas County Purchasing Department.
