Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Company shall furnish Dedicated Advanced Life Support ambulance service in and for the City of New Rochelle to be rendered on demand by the City at any time on a twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week basis. B. Dedicated shall mean for the exclusive use in the City of New Rochelles 911 EMS system and used for no other purpose whatsoever without permission of the Fire Chief. C. The Company shall be the sole provider of 911 ambulance services to the City with the possible exception of two northern zones of the city that can be bid on separately. See Section 7.2 and 10 for details. Mutual aid shall be utilized on an as needed basis. D. The equipment and staffing herein contracted for shall be restricted to providing for the emergency ambulance service called for in this Agreement. E. Such emergency ambulance service shall consist of prompt response to calls for service, of competent patient care and of transport of patients to a hospital when
