Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Kenai Peninsula Borough, on behalf of Central Emergency Service Area (CES), Nikiski Fire Service Area (NFSA), Anchor Point Fire & EMS Service Area (APFEMSA), Bear Creek Fire Service Area (BCFSA), and Kachemak Emergency Services (KESA), is requesting proposals for the provision of medical billing services for ambulance services. It is the intent of the Borough to contract with a reliable vendor to provide all aspects of the billing process from the initial billing through, but not including, collection agency services. The above listed fire service areas provide critical emergency medical services to the public, both advanced life support and basic life support.
