Specifications include, but are not limited to: The All American Ditch Stormwater Quality Retrofit Project is located within Section 20, Township 38South, Range 41 East, in Palm City, east-central Martin County, Florida. The approximately 268-acrewatershed is generally bound by SW Martin Highway / CR 714 (f.k.a. SW 36th Street) to the north, SWAll American Boulevard to the south, the South Fork of the St. Lucie River and Danforth sub-division tothe east and west, respectively. The watershed consists primarily of an older residential area in theeastern portion of the basin, a wetland and upland forested area surrounding the Whispering Sounddevelopment to the west and a commercial area in the northwest portion of the basin along the north sideof SW Martin Highway.The purpose of the project is to install a drainage system within the older, residential area in the easternportion of the basin, along with a control structure to capture and divert stormwater runoff west in AllAmerican Ditch, to a proposed pipe system along SW Mapp Road. The pipe system along Mapp Roadwill combine the stormwater from All American Ditch with runoff from the western portion of the basinand convey all the stormwater south to a 36-acre parcel of land south of the Tiberon neighborhood andnorth of Pipers Landings golf course facilities. On the 36-acre parcel, referred to as the Mapp RoadParcel, a deep water, wet detention lake is proposed along with a swallow water, Stormwater TreatmentArea (STA) in order to provide stormwater quality treatment prior to discharging through a controlstructure into the South Fork of the St. Lucie River.
