Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tulsa Public Schools (TPS, the District) wishes to contract with a reliable vendor for purchasing ala carte chips and snack items for resale to the Senior High Schools, Middle Schools, selected Elementary Schools and Education Service Center Cafeteria of Tulsa Public Schools for the 2016-2017 school year. This will also include any summer programs which require service. 2. BACKGROUND: TPS is the largest school district in northeastern Oklahoma. The district contributes significantly to the economic base of the area, employing 6,900 employees. Approximately 40,000 students were enrolled in over 55 elementary/Pre-K schools, 12 middle and junior high schools, and 9 senior high schools as well as over 15 special programs around the district.
