Specifications include, but are not limited to:The County of Bergen desires to establish a twenty-four (24) month contract with a catalog vendor for theprovision of Airstar Safety Lighting Equipment (or approved equal) for Various Bergen County Agencies,and cooperative counties, municipalities pursuant to New Jersey Statutes, regulations and notices. TheSafety lighting equipment will include, but not be limited to: lighting units, stands, telescopic stands,Offset Arm, combination kit, Telescopic column, base equipment, tilt equipment, hitch mounts, bracketequipment, sandbags, replacement lamps, retrofit kits, generators and inverters.The County has determined that one award is in the best interest of the County. The County does notguarantee a minimum purchase with any single vendor or an amount under the contract.The vendor must be an official and/or licensed distributor for any catalog offered. Documentation of thisfact must accompany each catalog. The County will not accept a catalog where the distributorship rightsto that catalog are those of a third party.Catalogs must clearly identify the product name, specifications, packaging information, etc. Prices mustbe listed in each catalog.The Price(s) offered shall be in the form of a percentage decrease from the lowest price listed in thecatalog. Any exceptions to the stated percentage decrease from the lowest price listed in the catalog. Anyexceptions to the stated percentage decrease must be clearly listed with the submitted bid proposal.Vendor price increases, as reflected in a newly published catalog shall be honored. However, percentagediscount offered in the submitted bid shall not change over the life of the contract (24 months).There shall be no minimum orders and no shipping charges. The vendor will be paid the catalog price,less discount, for each item purchased.A Division within the County of Bergen as well as cooperative agencies may order materials covered bythe contract directly from the vendor, when and as required. These orders shall be covered by the issuanceof a confirming requisition number or a Purchase Order.This list is non-exhaustive - but is an example of items that may be purchased.
