Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of West Sacramento (City) promotes homeownership among a wide range of income levels to retain the vitality of older neighborhoods and to make homeownership an affordable option for the workforce. The City administers a number of programs including the First Time Homebuyer Assistance Program for low-income residents, an Inclusionary Housing Program providing units affordable to low- and moderate-income persons and a Shared Equity Housing Program. The City is requesting proposals from organizations experienced with verifying eligibility for federally funded housing programs, loan underwriting and loan documentation low and moderate-income homebuyers. Consultants should have the capacity to provide services in a culturally sensitive manner and have experience working with persons from low-income and non-English speaking households. Minority and women-owned business are encouraged to apply.
