Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of Work: 3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES The County is seeking to hire a professional consultant to conduct an ADA Self-Assessment of all County owned buildings, and develop a transition plan where structural modifications are needed in order to achieve program accessibility as required under Title II of the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 3.1 History The County conducted an ADA Self-Assessment and developed a Transition Plan in 1993. Repairs and upgrades were completed; however the plan was not updated to reflect such repairs and upgrades, Attachment 1. 3.2 Scope of Work 3.2.1 Perform a thorough ADA Self-Assessment of each County building listed on the attached County Building List, Attachment 2. The ADA Self-Assessment report must include a description of the specific barriers at each location, photos and a reference to the federal or state regulation or guidelines used. The report shall provide a descriptive recommendation of the corrective measures in a prioritized manner to be taken for each specific barrier. 3.2.2 The Consultant shall develop a comprehensive ADA Transition Plan including a priority phasing schedule to perform corrective work.
