The City of Roseville is soliciting proposals for the services and equipment necessary to implement a P25800 MHz Phase I Digital Trunked Simulcast Radio System, Dispatch Console System, Logging RecorderSystem, and Subscriber Equipment. The system is vital to the radio system users and those they serve. There are over 1,200public safety and public service radio users that rely on a dependable radio communications system fortheir daily operations. The system, which has been in service for 17 years, is approaching the end of lifestatus. To replace the current system, the City's goal is to seek a new citywide P25 800 MHz Phase IDigital Trunked Simulcast Radio System for those who serve, protect, and provide services to the citizensof the City. The new system must meet the City's operational goals of providing and enhancing: ClearCommunications Reliable Communications User Safety User Friendliness Interoperability. No additional specifications were given.
