The project consists of an application for a tentative tract map, general plan amendment, precise plan, and variance to allow for the subdivision of two lots which together equal 27,129 square feet. The project site has a current General Plan land use designation of Service and Neighborhood Commercial (SNC); the proposal requires the approval of a General Plan Amendment to change the designation to Residential Medium (RM), which allows a density of between 8.1 to 15.0 dwelling units per acre. The site is currently zoned Multi-Family Residential-20 (MF-20), which allows up to 20 dwelling units per acre. The proposal includes the subdivision of two lots. The address for both lots is 1920 W.
