Specifications include, but are not limited to:Demolition See attached site map for Building Section Locations Building Section A: a.Shared walls to be structurally stabilized following recommendations detailed in attached structural analysis prepared by Reeve & Assoc. (see attached). b.Reclaimed roof lumber: Contractor responsible for carefully removing enough lumber from roof so that the barrel trusses can be removed and relocated, and stacking in adjacent parking lot. Lumber will be removed from site by others. c.Four barrel trusses from Building Section A are to be removed and relocated in the adjacent parking lot (see plans for truss removal and relocation). Contractor responsible for the careful removal, cleaning, structural repair, relocation and re-installment (including all footings, mountings structural reinforcements necessary) of two barrel arches from Building Section A. Details outlined in plans prepared by Reeve & Assoc. (see attached). Remaining two barrel trusses to be moved from adjacent lot by others. d.The Demolition of Building Section A is to proceed once the structural stabilization of shared walls and relocation of the barrel trusses have been completed. After demolition of Building Section A, only compacted graded structural fill shall remain. No footings, flatwork, building materials, debris shall be left or buried on the site. Refer to attached plot plan for site location and general reference to work description items. Contractor shall verify conditions on site. e.Repair of walls of West side of building Section B. Contractor responsible for Repairing / Rebuilding west side of building with CMU wall. All site work, Footings, and all materials necessary for construction of filling in exterior wall to be included in the bid. Building Section B: The interior of the first floor and basement of Building Section B is to receive the following: a. Removal of all flooring. Only original sub-floors should remain. b. Removal of all wall paneling, sheetrock, lath & plaster, ceiling material. c. Removal of all plumbing, electrical, appliances, including fixtures HVAC duct work (boiler to remain). d. Historic Radiant Heaters to stored onsite.4 e. All non-load bearing interior walls to be removed. Specified at the mandatory walk through. The interior of the second floor of Building Section B is to receive the following: a.Removal of all flooring. Only original hardwood and sub-floors should remain. b.Removal of all wall paneling, sheetrock, ceiling material. c.Removal of all plumbing, electrical, appliances, including fixtures HVAC duct work (operating furnaces to remain). d.Historic Radiant Heaters to remain in place
