Specifications include, but are not limited to:. 2016 CDBG Fox Chase Subdivision/Old Loganville Road Sidewalk Improvements. The Scope of Work for this project will include adding 4 foot sidewalks to two streets (Tara Court and Fiddlers Bend approximately 870 L.F.) within the subdivision to provide pedestrian access and safety for those residents who travel by foot and children. This will complete the installation of sidewalks for the interior portion of the subdivision. All work will be within the existing right-of-ways of Tara Court and Fiddlers Bend. Sidewalks shall be installed along existing roll curb and jogged 3 feet at driveways to avoid mailbox conflicts. Sidewalk along Tara Court will be installed along the northwest side of the road from Fox Chase Drive to the cul-de-sac at the end of Tara court. Sidewalk along Fiddlers Bend will be installed along the northeast side of the road from Butler Drive north to the cul-de-sac at the end of Fiddlers Bend. In addition, 5 foot wide sidewalk will be installed on south side of road along Old Loganville Road from Highway 78 where existing sidewalk ends west along the frontage of Fox Chase Subdivision to just past Fox Chase Drive (approximately 4,120 L.F.). Minor grading and storm drainage improvements are required in the scope of work to route storm water as in the existing condition. All earthwork quantities for sidewalk installation, ditch re-grading, and storm drainage improvements for backfill and haul off are the responsibility of the Contractor to include in their Lump Sum Bid to complete the Job at no additional cost to the Owner. Traffic and access to residential driveways must be maintained and kept open at all times. Traffic Safety devices such as signage, barricades, etc., and the protection of the public-at-large, and the Contractors personnel is part of this contract and is the Contractors sole responsibility. The Contractor will have Ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed to finish and complete the project. All materials and appurtenances required to complete this Scope of Work is the responsibility of the Contractor and shall be provided in his overall Bid. The Contractor must be an approved Contractor with the City of Loganville and/or Gwinnett County. A complete list of materials should be included in the Contractors overall Bid and the Contractor will be required to submit a schedule of values with his Bid.
